Gorgeous weather yet again for this wedding in the Palmenhaus Destedt near Cremlingen / Braunschweig. What a beautiful location within the English inspired park of Destedt Castle!
Amrei and Lionel’s ceremony was held within the building (erected 1865) and followed by a drinks reception on the lawn. Amrei and Lionel’s sweet dog was the ring bearer.
I loved the international feel to the celebrations with several guests speaking French (which I admit, I struggle with, but it’s such a beautiful language).
Their celebrations continued in the Barocksaal in Braunschweig. Watercolour illustrations of succulents adorned the tables, and a speed drawer was present to draw a portrait of each guests, which was a precious keepsake for them.
I loved Amrei’s “fit and flare” wedding dress paired with a loose bouquet and her gorgeous long hair swept to the side. Her choice in details matched the venue and style perfectly.

Das wunderschöne Palmenhaus in Destedt in der Nähe von Braunschweig ist Standesamt-Außenstelle - aber man kann dort auch freie Trauungen feiern.
