Arne : 18 months on | Baby Photography

Regular readers of the blog will already be acquainted with this cheeky little boy, my nephew Arne. It only seems a few weeks ago that I took photos of him as a baby, and now he's running around like a proper toddler. He's so grown up looking that I always expect him to talk! But he is still in the "mama", "papa" phase, with the occasional "trecker" - (German for tractor) thrown in. Well, he's a true country bumpkin! :)
As any parent will be able to confirm it's a difficult job to photograph a toddler. They have boundless energy and never stand still... if you get them to look at the camera, you get a few shots but then they quickly loose interest. However I think this has its own charm, because when they play they are so carefree. I think the photos really capture that...

Sandra & Johannes : Married | Wedding Photography

They were high school sweethearts, and met 13 years ago. They both studied law together, and now work as lawyers. They share an infectious sense of humour. And they got married on one of the hottest days this year in Hanover, Germany.

I met with Sandra and Johannes before their church ceremony (where Johannes' father officiated), in a park in Hanover, to take their couple shots. It was near enough midday, and we were all positively frying!! But what I remember most from our shoot is Johannes saying over and over again how beautiful Sandra looked in her dress. It was so sweet. And I have to completely agree with him, she was absolutely stunning!

We started off with a classic view of the Neues Rathaus, an iconic building in Hanover...

This is when I found out that Johannes doesn't know the movie "Notting Hill"... I think that definitely needs to be rectified, Sandra!
