When I met Stephanie and Graham a few weeks ago for their engagement shoot, Stephanie told me that the orange gerbera daisy flowers were the first things she decided to have at their wedding. And everything else followed suit from there. So they ended up with a bright and happy colour scheme of orange and blue, which would have cheered up even the most miserable weather! Fortunately, we had a dry if a little windy day at Carnbooth House Hotel in Carmunnock. Being very prepared, Stephanie's bridesmaids arrived well ahead of the ceremony - leading to some commotion as Stephanie was not far behind and Graham still wandering about outside the house! Being on time meant however there was no rush and Stephanie very composed and relaxed when she arrived. The ceremony was held in Carnbooth House's marquee, where the wedding breakfast was also served later on and the evening entertainment took place.
For the couple portraits after the ceremony, we went for a walk about the grounds and used the big staircase of Carnbooth House Hotel to full effect! Back in the marquee for the speeches, Stephanie and Graham's piper delivered a full performance as he helped them with cutting the cake. Speeches were given by Stephanie's Dad, Graham and a very nervous best man who still managed to do a great job!
Congratulations Stephanie & Graham on a fantastic wedding day, I really enjoyed photographing it and wish you all the very best for your future together as Mr and Mrs!! Hope you enjoy this preview of photos!
