Nikki and John had a scorcher of a day about two weeks ago, when they became Mr and Mrs Sheridan at the Parkville in Blantyre. My day started at Nikki and John's house where the lovely Craig Alexander Wilson was working his magic on the ladies - and entertaining us all! Nikki had warned me before the wedding that she was super nervous about it all, but on the morning of the wedding day she still seemed quite relaxed!
Over at the Parkville, John was mingling with the guests but happy to pose for a few shots! The weather was just getting better and better, and Nikki arrived with the sun absolutely blasting down. Her nerves finally kicked in a bit but she made it safely down the aisle to "At Last". Nikki and John had a Humanist Ceremony, which included sharing a drink of whisky from a quaich. This symbolises the uniting of two families, I think it's a lovely gesture. After the ceremony, we took their couple portraits in the beautiful Viewpark Nurseries before heading back to the Parkville for the meal and entertainment.
Nikki and John had chosen a blue colour scheme for the wedding, and a great deal of thought had gone into all the details, but particularly the table decorations - most of which Nikki had made herself! Another special mention deserves the cake which was made by John's brother and looked stunning!
Nikki and John, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your big day, it was such a pleasure to get to know you! I hope you enjoy this preview of photos (on your ipad maybe :) ) and speak soon.
