Getting married in Scotland?

Are you getting married in Scotland? I would love to hear from you!

I have real soft spot for Scotland, my husband Gary’s native country. We lived near Glasgow for many years (before moving to Germany in 2014) and this is where it all began for me. We got married in Scotland, I started my photography business. Despite living in Germany now, we’re over quite often – it is our second home. I am so happy that I can continue to offer my photography services in Scotland.

Nothing in my mind beats a good Scottish wedding! Possibly only, photographing one 😉

I especially love weddings in the Highlands, with the wild scenery, sparkly lochs and ancient castles. I have photographed at many Highland and Lowland venues (and a few of my favourites include Monachyle Mhor Hotel, Glenfinnan House Hotel, Tobermory Registry Office, Calgary BayMelrose Abbey, Bunchrew House, Edinburgh Lothian Chambers, Fernie Castle and many more – if you’re still looking for one, I can highly recommend any of these!). They are simply so many stunning venues in Scotland, and I’m always looking forward to seeing new ones every wedding season! The unpredictable weather is never an issue for me… I love how changeable it is, and heavy clouds add that little bit of drama to your wedding photos. Trust me on that one (and bring your wellies, if you like!).

If you plan your wedding in Scotland, I would simply love to be your photographer!

P.S. I offer preferential prices for Scottish weddings!

P.S. If you’re planning a smaller wedding or elopement – I had the question before if I photograph them. The answer is a resounding YES. I’ve photographed weddings with as few as two guests before (and I’m still hoping to act as the witness to a couple some day!) Smaller weddings are fantastic, they often feel like a big house party… where the couple have plenty of time for the guests, good food, and each other! I actually think that Scotland is particularly suited to smaller weddings and elopements because of the variety of venues.
