Greenbank Gardens : Preview

On Sunday, I took a sudden fancy to having a picnic. I had this very romantic idea of sitting on a picnic blanket in the grass with Gary, in beautiful surroundings, in the sunshine, with birds singing and getting tuck into delicious food. Well. When we arrived at the Deli to stock up on food supplies, rain set in. Since we were already there, we made the most of the situation by eating IN the Deli. This kind of defeated the purpose, but by the time we were finished, the weather had improved immensely and we were back on track. So, we went to Greenbank Gardens near Glasgow, sat on a bench, in the sunshine, in beautiful surroundings, and the birds were singing.
And I almost forgot - the food in the Deli was delicious.

I suppose you could say, everything went to plan ;)
